I have the Berik "Blade" 1pc suit.... for about AUD$1k they're worth every penny...

I almost love it more than my Dianese gear... :D

Berik is a very well known brand, heaps of professional riders wear them ... if you look at motoGP, it's probably the most common leathers in the 250 and 125cc classes. The top motoGP riders wear whatever they're paid to wear of course ....

I did the same research when I was looking for leathers, and ended up buying Berik. Couldnt be happier. I have since met riders who have come off wearing them, and they appear to have held up extremely well.

I just bought a pair of Berik gloves to replace my Dainese ones. So far I'm very happy with them. The Dainese took a few weeks to wear them in (kept getting blisters from the CF on the fingers) but the Berik was comfortable almost straight away.

I heard their moto gp suits burst open easily... if your looking at that suit, perhaps look into it more yourself

I have a 3-4 year old two piece that's holding up well, and I'll buy Berik again if they decide to do a two piece version of their 'roo hide suit.

Check to see if they are legit and not cheap Chinese copies.
Ebay was flooded with fake Berik leathers from China a few months back, along with fake brembo radial master cylinders.

+1. Whilst not the same make, I was going to buy a suit from ebay, fortunately a local seller so I went to check it out. I first went to a store, and inspected the real thing closely, and good thing I did as the ebay one was clearly a fake - the difference was obvious. Unless you understood clothing (or compared like I did) I doubt you would know.

From what I've read it was a problem with their kangaroo suits, since the stiching was too tight and was prone to bursting. Their cow/moo suits didn't have this problem. Also this was around 1-2 years ago, I'm not sure if they fixed up the issue with their kangaroo leathers.

Cheers guys its the real deal as the Hong Kong shop is the supplier listed on the Berik website and is a legit shop. Got boots for myself and a leather jkt for my other half. Quality on both is very good.

If you're ever in Honkers, i recommend Star Bike/BG Performance and MotoMart. English speaking staff, great ranges and set-ups. Theres some good deals here, but weak dollar means most stuff works out only slightly cheaper.

I did the same as captain and researched and then bought mine from Hong Kong and subsequently crashed at the track on the third ride with them. Held up great and are the most comfortable 1 piece I have worn. No burst stitching and I hit the deck at 150+.

Pics below are after the crash.
