Hi kids. Just thought I would give you a bit of summary of my last 3 days. Left Gods country round midday on friday. Went south and ended up up Bega for the night. Between Batemans and Cobargo I was cruising along round the speed limit when I noticed a blue Dunnydoor come racing up behind me. Anybody else notice how their unmarked cars always standout. I sat at or under the limit for 10ks while they came right up to me wheel then dropped back. Finally gave me the blues on the hill down into Cobargo. If anybody has been there it's nearly a 1 in 1 hill. Well it is steep. Had to stop halfway down on the dirt. Breath test and lic check . Then drove off. I noticed they had pulled into the garage out of sight they thought. I drove through the town and stopped to fix my ear plug but I had a feeling. A minute later they came roaring out of town. How I chuckled as they saw me on the side of the road. They raced off and pulled off further off the road. Nice sleep at Bega that night. Next day off to do the Omeo via theWyndham, cathcart, bombala, Cann river. Heaps of bikes out . Lots of Ullyses groups. Nearly got to Bruthen but got nabbed 126 in a 100 zone. Shit happens.Climbed the hill to Omeo for a fill up. Got some video of the run.Was going to stay at mount beauty but the place was full. Bright was . Decided to go to Albury. I was getting low on fuel , or so I thought. Nothing In Albury or Wadonga. Stupid Victorians and their public holidays. By know I was rooted a lot of miles on my old body. I pulled in to Holbrook at 8pm . I was contemplating riding home but slept there. Toss up in morning to come home or do the Snowy mtns highway. Went via Adelong and Tumut. Ended up tailing , well for a while anyway then joined this group . Highspeed run across the roof of aussi, Nothing like it!!!They pulled of at the caves and waited for some stragglers. I just drop a notch and cruised . Soon I saw them coming again. I was round the 1?0 mark. Guess a number and this guy on a ST3 comes roaring past. Then a cbr600. I stick with these two. They guy on the ST3 buggers off in the straights but we come to a windy section, A 60 k corner. I come round just as he goes into the armco.Well to cut it short , we parked our bikes about 100mtres down the road and ran back. He was ok and the Duc wasn't to bad. Just fairing damage. He said he grabbed the brakes and nothing happened . sure enough there was fluid and no leaks but no pressure. Duc ABS, ha. Anyway it wouldn't start so we left it there and and rode to Adaminaby . I left them there. Had lunch at the east end cafe . Heaps of riders heading to Cann River. Got home at 5pm tired, sore and a bit wet. Time to clean my baby and get Zeno to overhaul the rear shock. Will sleep well tonight. Thank You Mister Honda

Did very close to the same roads all last week but headed home friday due to public holiday for vic & new roads would have more traffic & the boys in blue would be out in force. Falls Creek, Hotham & Mt Buffalo are great due to not easy to patrol due to the never ending twisties.

Top of Falls Creek on way to PI how can you ride past hehe

Best condition I have seen them in a long while, none of the normal spray on gravel anywhere as most of the road works of late are finished.

Awesome run Kimbo. Most of my favourite roads down there. I took Munga and some friends down there and ended up at Tumut. 800k's in one day. I'm going to organise a weekend run soon. All welcome. Will post.

Good read :ayyy:

The next best thing to doing these trips is reading about someone else's fun.

Sorry to hear about the ticket.

All a good read needs are photo's.
