What a top 3 days of practice, qualifying and racing.I was lucky enough to be posted on MG for the three days and believe me when i say i was run of my feet.The weather held out for the three days apart form about ten minutes of rain on Saturday and Sunday and the temperature was very pleasant for a change.

There were a few other events other than the world supers, there was the Australian super bike, sports, production and historic and all have there fair share of spills.I even picked up a RAT of the deck in the production series, how freaky is that :eek:

To make the SBK experience even better, was the fact i had a huge TV right behind me so i did not miss a thing over the weekend.It's amazing when your watching them on TV coming over Lukey Hights and with a turn of your head it becomes live.I also have a few visitors come up and say G'day like Arron Slight and one of the managers from the Xerox Ducati team, but the best part of the weekend was the view from the dunny, it was a bout five meters from the track and when a bike went by there is no fart in hell that could be heard

As always there are a few people i need to thank.Without their help there would be no chance i could have made it down to PI.

He had a mate racing in the historic's....He hung around all afternoon and let me be the first to say, what a top bloke :ayyy:

Bloody Sin, he is always coming off........getting fast thou......1:40's on a stock R6 first time he was on the bike last time I timed him at the Creek. Was only two years ago he was flat out doing 53's.


Glad ya had fun Vin., The Italian bloke looks a bit too friendly thou.:shifty:

I picked Sin up from the middle of the track.By the time i got there he was trying to pick up his bike...trying being the operative word.I told him to go to the tyre wall and i got his bike.He was holding his wrist and i asked if he needed medical to which he replied no, he said he was fine.He had his helmet on with a tinted visor, but when i heard his voice i knew it was him.It was not until i got back to his pit he realised it was me.He asked me what i was doing there, i replied "picking you off the track AGAIN":lmao:.He could not believe that and what makes it even scarier two years to the day i did the same on T3 at PI

Hey Vinnie, I think was sitting directly opposite you! It was definitely the best spot on the track, heaps of passing and great saves all weekend.

Probably Robbie Phillis, I'm reading the Aaron Slight book at the moment and they were great mates! I'd love to have met him, I still have a Aaron Slight mug from the Superbikes of about oooh '98? (actually that's just given me an idea, I might give my Book to Robbie next time I see him and get Aaron to sign it! :) )

I was Flag Marshalling at 8.8 on Friday and Saturday and 6.1 for Sunday (Had a great view of Biaggi sticking his bike into the wall :dohsmiley: )
