Hey everyone...

Quick question...

Looking at getting a Universal Motorcycle Intercom, so i can chat to the Girlfriend on them long weekend trips.

anyone ever seen one, used one, heard anything about them...

Got a trip planned next month, guna take 2 hours of riding so id be good to talk to her while on the way up and back.

i have one like that, picked it up for $20 and is only good for under 40km/h. :headshake: Oh well i wanted to see howd those things work but i just prefer yelling at the rider/pillion.

Well for certain quality ones will have max speeds you can go before it all distorts out and my $20 test one got distorted at 40km/h+.

I have a mate who rides a GSX1400 & has some sort of intercom contraption. It has a transmitter/reciever as well. He can talk to his missus on the back or one of his mates within about 1 km I think. Plugs his mob phone & ipod into it for long trips. I know he clocks up a few ks on weekend rides with some buddies who all have em. I dont know the brand of this thing but I can find out. Think it cost him about a grand.

Probably about $950 to expensive for me, hahaha

but i appreciate the thought mate.

If he ever wants to sell it, i'd be interested, just 1000 is way to much...

Just lookin for a new toy to play with on the weekends! :D
