It brakes fine at slow speeds with the lever not completely pulled in. but when I have to brake a little harder it jerks and the bike shudders to a stop. It seems to be grabbing and releasing at the very end? It still brakes, just rough. I’m a bit confused.
The disks are straight, the pads seem fine…. I wouldn’t be too concerned except for the fact that I can’t do stoppies on it anymore… oh and the whole emergency braking issue….

You could try BRAKING......... that you are breaking would suggest a problem straight up. LOL
Have you tried bleeding the lines? Maybe a problem with air?? Hard to say without seeing/feeling it.

You're discs need machining and you are in luck.
They may have been tweeked by a disc lock or they got wet when they were hot and warped a little but the only way to fix is to replace or machine for $60 a disc.
I just happen to be the only dude in Sydney that can machine motorcycle brake discs. You can leave your bike here for the day or just courier the discs over to me.

+1
GSXRs are known for warping rotors...........I've had 3 750s and a 1000 and all have warped, sometimes several times.....
If it continues, better off buying something aftermarket like the BRAKING WAVE Discs as they're cheaper than originals and are pretty well guarranteed NOT to warp.

Yeah…. Well I was thinking about buying a Triumph Daytona 675 but not sure
As for the warranty not sure if Suzuki oz is covering that kind of stuff… esp being the brakes?
Mate, the bike is new, the first thing I would be doing is taking it back to the dealer.
To be having that problem with I'm assuming such low mileage is ridicules ......:cursing:

I don't think that is what he said.. he meant Yamaha!
Luke, I'll bleed you.. er.. I mean your brakes.. but Rips diagnosis sounds informative and at good price.

Get a brembo, perfect for stoppies! And you can use it on any future bike.

yeah should be covered under warranty
no wonder it was so hard to do stoppies... it was sooo jerky. went up the old road on the weekend (in the rain) and at some points i didn't think my brakes were going to work at all!!!
heading to Oran Park on the 10th so will have them fixed by then! I'll race you Nuff.... i'll be in Dgroup or whatever the lowest is, its best, that way i get to come first hahaha
If you don't have brakes D group is perfect for you. I'm in C, I like to come last lol

It's funny how some people think others are so gullible, I tend to laugh at them not with them.
