View Full Version : Outdated, overinflated, ever increasing Rd rules

Ever increasing road rules, ever increasing/renamed charges/offences, with ever increasing penalties and demerit points that go with them, at this rate, there wont be a sole who hasnt lost their licence in a year or three.

Speed limits that where once 100, that just happened to be when we rode/drove bikes that weighed twice as much as they do now, handled like a shopping trolley, and braked like a stampede of elephants. So with all this technology gone into vehicles, one would think that speed limits would either stay the same or reviewed and increased, YET, they are halved in cases.

WHY ? why does the public not rebel and say, fuck you, enough is enough ? interesting thing is, the puppets, I mean the public, think exactly like they are programmed to think.

WHY ? why doesnt anyone question this ?

a) Speed limit drops, have they saved lives ? ... NO, just as many, if not more accidents now.
b) Fixed speed camera's.... Revenue rasing alone, or they actually, like we are lead to believe, on dangerous stretches of rd ?
c) Road surface and conditions....Would the more logical answer be to, repair rd properly the first time, rather than fill with that squigly shit ( full well knowing its a danger to the public mind you ), liquid tar, or what we settle for, speed limit further reduced ??
e) Why are we riders having to pay ever inflated prices to "keep it to the track", when if thats what they want why not subsidise these to give everyone a taste or whats it like, at a price they can afford ? rather than limit tracks, discourage by allowing prices to inflate to a point where a speeding fine is cheaper ffs..
etc
etc
etc

I tell you why, cause were all puppets of the revenue raising system, who with a pull of string can think exactly how we are told to think.

No-one questions these ????, its allways the the programming gone into them with the typical programmed answer, "ooh you bad, you deserved it, you shouldnt do this shit on the rd'.. more like Im a fucken hypocrite who cant say what I really think, just what sounds and looks good, as Ive been programmed too.

Do something about it instead of whinge ? what can we do ? make a ghost rider style clip :lmao:, theyve closed all the doors on this... but hey, never fear, we got the motorcycle councill working for us with real issues, like, we can now park our bike in the city, woopppeeefuckendooooo :cursing:

end rant :p

I feel your pain and frustration mate. I expect we all do. Problem seems to be one of too much civil obedience .... we're too polite and law-abiding (what did Midnight Oil say? people too scared to go to prison?), so the best we can do is have a whinge.

Johnny, that was full on. Did something happen to put you in a bad mood today?
ps. Agree with everything you said especially the speed limits and poorly maintained roads being the cause of accidents.

and as i have said previously....

imagine if the state of n.s.w managed to

not get one ticket of anykind
be it camera, parking, infringement notice, whatever

not one coin was raised in these bullshit laws they put foward!!!
not one dollar AT ALL,

they would somehow need to recover that loss of revenue....

which would only mean tolls would be raised and any other tax possible to make up for the loss new laws and taxes would be put foward too....

either which way... we be fuct

++++1
and if you argue with the guy/gal writing you the ticket, they try taking your whole license off you, so in the end you just have to cop it and yes officer/constable/senior constable, I'm sorry, I know...
...pity you weren't around when I had to do an emergancy break 5 mins ago when a cage decided to turn left from the right lane, lucky they didn't hit me this time, etc etc etc.

Was so much nicer when I lived in the country and you knew the officers and they were nice and understanding, you could have a good chat/wave as you went by.

(sorry just wanted to add my 2cents too)

And with the parking, I heard you can only park for the time that the parking is limited to anyway, so pretty useless really - I hope I heard wrong ???

...and not forgetting that we have a right to contest in court any fine; yet should we lose it moves from being a fine to something way worse - encouraging what for the long-term exactly?

Rather then bich and moan here you can do something, the question is do you really want to?

What can a poor individual do? First thing start to petition your local member, the loudest cry gets the most food. Second you could start your own motorcycling council or even join the current one (though that could send you to the nut house) and re focus their efforts.

Only one person is the premier so one person can do something.

No, no it wont....we dont have a Constitution, written by forefathers of our founding land, protecting our rights from over zealous governments, we were founded by convicts, we were populated by people attempting to escape from oppresive governments.

"Only one person is the premier so one person can do something."

If you think he is the guy pulling strings and making things happen you're in fairy land. LOL Not to start a whole other shitfight about this, but things like this and what was said about laws being imposed and we buy it and don't say shit etc, you can see something in why/how certain people in this world have a hatred for our way of life, and go on and on like they do about. We are NOT free, we are, as said, just lead to accept all sorts of crap, believe we are and "feel" free, in fact, we are fed every lil fukin thing our whole lives for the purpose of being easy to govern and control. If it wasn't like that, we would have people fighting and goin nuts about what happens, but the only people that say or do anything are the do-good dikheads that are partly to blame for why we are who we are also.

I remember talking to a guy from south america ages ago about council elections and that he couldn't believe nobody gave a toss, and that regardless of who got in we're fukt anyway................. and what he said was right I rekon. He said that if the shit some of these guys got caught doing and or wasting etc happened where he was from, there'd be riots in the streets, and the guy would be lucky to be alive by the end of it. LOL Don't agree of heading down that path, but still, we should take more interest and hold these fuks more accountable than we are at present

Birdman, please do misunderstand what I was saying. The premier does have a lot of advisers behind pulling the strings just like any government, however what I was saying if you are really that pissed off then do something. Fact is the premier can make decisions for all.

LMAO, Can just see the headlines on current affairs programmes.

"Motorcyclists call for speed limit and infringement reviews to help make them more of a menace and danger to the public"

Followed with a story with posted youtube vids, and some dickhead payed to be a dickhead for camera with face and number plate smudged out.

Go to the premier ? hahaha, I thought he was the one who comes up with all of this.. in the name of safety ofcourse.

Nothing can be done about it but bite the bullet, the puppets in public are too far gone and thinks exactly how they are programmed to think :lmao:

Dont think for a second that you wont be a victim of all this, its only a matter of time !

You might want to rethink that move to Queensland.

QLD police hammer the people on bikes, well at least that is what I here on a couple of other forums. They seem to enforce the no mods and bling rules.
