Hey guys, finally got my eliminator from the states, Can you guys tell me if the rego is illegal behind the number plate as i have it now? it looks good there cos its out of the way, still visible if you look.....
what you reckon?

I also thought it wasn't legal if you didn't have a reflector atthe bottom like the stock mud flaps.....

Anyone know? Sorry i can't help to much mate... but the fender elim looks sweet! ;)

The law is that the plate must be clearly visible from 5m away. I got done earlier in the year for "rear plate to comply with visibility" I asked the copper what the exact ruling was and he could not tell me.....tool. I'm not bitter tho.

Maybe right near the rear shock... on the liner that curves down... tehre is space there

I did not get a fine or points (which I think is $308 and 3 points for plate obstruction), just had to get a part inspection.

Fucking ridiculous. There were 4 of us heading south through Nowra to the Clyde to drop a mate of in Goulburn. It was 10am and we were in full leathers heading out of Norwa and we got pulled over for an RBT (except for the BMW Rider) and the fuckers go over our bikes. While we were waiting for our tickets all the cars just kept going through with out any inspection. Shits me.

Also, one of the guys had a suspect (bald) tire and the copper that he had congratulated him on having a go......I guess I got the one with the small penis:confused1:

Mine is about the same as yours.

haha, yeh i moved it to the righthand side swingarm atm hidden behind the pipe(hope it dont melt)

But, i noticed a piece of plastic from the rear fender lining that comes down vertically near the rear shock and just above the swingarm, i might drill and screw it into there..

Have you considered one of those tubes that you can attach to your number plate with the rego rolled into it?

Nice place to have rego, although from what i know if its not displayed at the back it has to be on the left side somewhere.
