Mr Sheen...it works on the couch! Just don't use it on your leather pants, you might slide off the seat. hahaha

Saddle soap
Picked some up from MCAS ages ago...when the Auburn store was at Parra.
'Joseph Lyddy' Saddle Soap and Letha Phane (leather oil). They'll come u a treat :ayyy:

yep sure do just stick my leathers in the washing machine no detergent what so ever just softly.
if the bug guts is baked in just mix some in water & scrub.
the bonus is you smell nice & the cost is next to nothing compared to all the other leather products.
want proof it works I have a leather lounge that is over 20 years old no cracks in leather & is wiped down every 6 moths with softly mixed with water & my leathers are 5 years old & they get the washing machine treatment.
if you want to buy the expensive stuff go right ahead.

Now wheres the pic of the Bat guts all over me ( bastard near broke my shoulder, again :lmao: ) from the putty night run. You reckon bug guts are hard to get off, try a Bat hitting you in the shoulder at ***ks p/h, and splatter all over you, I mean all over you, from helmet to boots, now thats a carrrrrrrrrrrrrrnt :lmao: .
Just used warm water with a softish scrubber brush to remove ;)

I can vouch for the Leather Phane (Joseph Lyddy - available from MCAS). It's like bug'n'tar remover for leathers. Cleans really well, leaves a lovely shiny patina on the leather and doesn't affect colours as it's a neutral oil. Also adds water-repellency to the leather. Great stuff.

Oh, I know the word...just to hear it in conjunction with motorcycle leathers and cleaning of etc...seems like a further pussification of the sport.

Spray and wipe and a kitchen spounge, works wonders and seems to soften the leather somehow?

Fair enough. I've never had reason to question someone's "manliness" by the words he chooses, but judging by your avatar, I can see how you may have issues with the whole man-image-brokeback-mountain thing.....
ciao

PS- for the record, yes: I am comfortable in my own skin, I do own a man-bag, but only ever occasionally moisturize...
