Try the chain gang in QLD, they are fantastic to deal with and had my stuff in 2 or 3 days from memory, even when i ordered stuff that wasnt on their site the owner went out of his way to get what i wanted and ship them down. Most of their stuff is hardened too. take a look, www.chaingang.com.au or if you want a nice run around try superbikesupply.com.au

Chaingang are expensive. Good quality but expensive. I heard they were closing down anyways. Anyone else hear this?
I bought my last set from Superbike Supply (http://www.superbike.supply.com.au)
Good prices and really fast shipping. Not sure what unclewal means by "runaround" cos i got mine in a few days.
They carry Vortex sprockets too so you can get a black rear sprocket. Cant tell you if Vortex are any good though cos i sold the bike not long after and didnt even get to fit them up.

It's all about supply & demand chaingang make there own sprockets so turn around is normally quicker. When you purchase from superbike etc they need to order the parts in which at times can be slower when supplier doesn't have stock.

exactly the problem i had with superbike supply which is fine if they tell the truth but i got told a few curly ones and led to believe i would get my stuff sooner rather than later, 6 weeks later whos the smarter man. Apart from the chain and sprockets superbikesupply have been awesome with all the other stuff i have brought from Tim.

well, i emailed tim at like 6:30pm, and he rang me about 7pm. so props there.
Sorted out and explained what i was after, and he quoted me.
$386 shipped, and i got my black rear sprocket :) He said he would get me a stronger one for no extra aswell. Something to do with the way its coloured or something.
He said chain and front sprockets overnight. and few days for the rear sprocket.
so im hoping by this weekend.... My chain and sprockets are making an awful noise now....

I bought a 520 kit - gold DID chain and black Driven rear sprocket (looks great) - from Motomummy a little while back. Only took a couple of weeks to get it. Cost was US$225 (incl postage) which was seemed very competitive with Aussie prices at the time, but may not be so great now with the diving exchange rate.
I've used Motomummy a bit over the last year - in general great prices, but their delivery times can be a bit hit and miss depending on whether they have the gear in stock

Yeh, moto mummy was 245 shipped for my 530 kit. gold chain, black sprocket. but for like 20 extra just get in aus.
I just figured out that the chain wont be joined will it?
who has one of the chain tools so i can cut links out and join the chain? i'll need one of them just to borrow if anyone has one can you let me know?
