I bought one last month, nice bit of kit. Still to try it out in anger. The picture quality is superb, and the mic does not suffer distortion (adjustable also) The biggest problem is that the file size is rather large due to the quality, but once you edit it, then compress - then load to youtube (who also compress) the quality gets lost. There is a way to do it - just not found it yet.
There is also a hack for using a 4GB card, though that's something else I aint found yet.
EDIT: Build quality is fantastic also.
EDIT2: It's not the smallest system out there. gonna have to be clever to hide this one.
tazkenny, one way is not to use youtube and instead use http://vimeo.com/
You will get much better video quality.

I ended up getting the Elmo SUV Cam II. It's got a slightly better camera and takes High Capacity SD cards (16GB cards). At high res, about 8hrs recording space on 16GB.
Downside is that it doesn't have a remote option yet. I hear the next model they are working on releasing will have a remote.

The 16Gb is great, the VIO seems to have problems with HD cards, looks like there are hacks but native support is always better.

When you upload to youtube, try to upload a 320x resolution version of the file, if you put it has 640 it will have to compress it too much to get the desired compression ratio and it'll look dodgy.
