This morning I dropped into a motorcycle chop in Yagoona to have a set of tyres changed. When I first spoke to them they said, "no worries mate, drop in early and we can do it. $30 bucks front and rear.

Anyway I did as they said, they changed the tyres and then told me that it would cost $50 bucks!!!! When I told them that they told me it would cost $30 initially, there excuse was, "Mate it goes up and down" WHAT A JOKE!!

Moral of the story is make sure that even when you have clarified price, make sure that your not dealing with monkeys.

I'm not going there again.

Sounds like Helmet Warehouse - on Hume Hwy. Hardly a warehouse though, has about 2 brands of helmets in stock and a few clothing items, one style of womens boots which were butt-ugly. The shop is really dark and has about 3 or 4 bikes for sale at the front.

hey guys it has been suggested before but everytime i read of bad service.. i think to myself why arent us RATS members supporting the people that support us??

you should consider booking in with Dallas at K & D..

book in for a saturday morning then spend the rest of the day scrubbing them in on the lovely roads the area has to offer such as Macquire Pass, kangaroo valley, the Nato etc etc

just an idea and i bet you wont be complaining about the service or price:ayyy:

What amazes me is the motorcycling world is a small place, people know people and have friends. Why would you treat customers like this?

Dr freedom

cause they move between 150 & 200+ lids a month via web orders & dont need to.

Youre kidding theyve got more helmets than anyone.
Il quickly defend Marcus cause hes a top bloke and he helped me out last time I was at EC with a spare visor. got me a good deal on an Iridium visor too. Anyway not sure if the workshop attached is the same buisness or not.

I went to a place once (no names), they only had a limited number of helmet brands ... and none of the latest styles ... and the sales staff were not very helpful either. What's the word I'm looking for .... 'attitude' ... yep, that's the word.

I'm sure there's a good bloke working there, probably he wasn't there on that day.
