is anyone in the market for leathers.... 1 pce 2 pce even a jacket...

we could all get together one weekend and storm a shop(mcas for example) and buy our respective suits and possibly qualify for a BIG discount

you know getting a $1000 suit for $800 is just right up my alley

this will possibly have to be all pre arranged of course
but a few phonecalls is easy enough.... to see what everyone can or will offer for us

getting say 4-5 people together,heck even more would be better!!!

I don't mind going to MCAS, I'm after the dainese laguna seca 1pc perforated, since it fits me well and I don't want a suit with sawn in armour or moulded plastic/titanium shoulders like my current 2pc. It's pain in the ass to fix them after a slide and works out to be very expensive. The dainese fits my needs perfectly.

Lads - I saw this thread this morning and asked the question at bikebiz when I picked up my new suit today. They said they could certainly work some good numbers out dependant on how many were part of the group buy. Get the numbers firm then hit them up and you'll be walking out with bargains of they stick to their word.

Anyhoot - here is my new pride and joy which I found so much more comfortable and less exe than the RC-1 AS suit. Thanks drunkenhard for calling this gem out!

Can be this or next weekend, I'm pretty much set on dainese suit. I just wonder how I'm going to get the leathers home, since I'm stuck on a scoot for another few weeks. Wearing full leathers on a scooter should be fun :lmao:

lads, get on the berik band wagon. i work in the sporting goods industry selling clothes and equipment and the leather is good quality. berik may not be a dainese but considering the price of these suits in particular the one i bought - "the original one" (the one down from respi's "blade race" suit) is the best value suit goin round and not to mention best lookin. that logo sh!ts on any other logo out there!
Initially went to Action at Parra and they offered me $850 down from $1k but colour preference not available so went to Aitkens who had it and were prepared to offer same price even though i tried to get it for less!!!
if you want it best to get it now! working as a wholesaler, imo, the distrubutors of berik are trying to gain as much market share as they can so they penetrate with a low price initially. As soon as these start to create high demand, which i'm sure they will, the price will go up. They will use the excuse that labour in china has gone up and AU$ has gone down (valid reasons at present as they have). They know people will pay for it and the fact the quality is good enough to retail for more. my 2 bobs!

I'm going for what I've already tested 3 times with my own ass. But this time I'm going to go for a suit that is easy and cheap to fix. Berik, A* and few others fall into the not so easy and quiet expensive to fix suits, since they have plastic/metal inserts. I might spent couple of hundred more and save few hundred more later. At least that's the way I look at it.

Guys I dropped the list of yesterday and will be gettign a phone call today with pricing. On a seperate note my mate saved roughly $250 whilst we were there for multiple items exceeding $1200 dollars.

They really looked after him and wil look after us given i've spent some substantial money already, my mate just did and the prospect you all will too.
