went shopping today for new bike:mod_smilie_rockwoot :mod_smilie_rockwoot ..

very interestin out comes..

rounded it down to, 2 bikes/ with 3 or 4 models/colours etc i like..

$$ will be an issue between bikes with whats on offer from both manufactures..

dont like compliance of 06/06 on a new bike though so could be down to 1 bike when i think bout it more this arvo:confused1: :confused1: :confused1: :confused1:

Yeah they tend to go for the cosmetically appealing type.
When we were at the bike show last year I was running a hypothetical by her for a roadie and anything without a fairing didn't cut it, It looked too 70's was her response...............fuked if I know how she choose me :confused1:

right now im 80% sure i'll be leaving a deposit on the duck tomorrow..

always liked the MV's but there is a couple of factors weighing against it..

its gettin old in the tooth, compliance of bike 06/06(new bike:confused1: ), insurance and service

MV or the new Duc what a hard choice you have & one I have done some research on funny enough. The funny part is I decided to wait one more model year.

The MV is a bike I have always wanted for pure sex on wheels but current model is getting long in the tooth, the riding position doesn't suit me for long hauls. Parts & back up local are a problem even if stealer tells me it's not (I do ask real MV owners but most don't ride very much).

The new Duc has most talking it up & for the price it looks the goods (better value than MV), I just wont buy one till model has a year or so under it's belt to find or iron out bugs which may arise with a new model. Even if Duc have lifted there game in recent years I tend to talk to mechs & Ducs at nearly every oil change have metal in oil which tends to bother me. I'm also not a big fan of red & when you pay 30K for a motorbike you tend to want a colour you like.

So what I came up with was this, both above bikes are around 30K & scream take me to the track, but floging a 30K bike at the track is same risk as floging a 1K bike just way more fun. I wouldn't relax floging it & would always hold back thinking about the 30K I could just flush away down the road. The problem is how could you not take either above bike to the track so better to keep away & buy any 1000cc jap sports bike for 1/2 the cost.

Disclaimer: If I had money to burn I would have both in my garage.

yip royz purely pose value for me this time.. i wont be visiting the track on it..unfortunately for same $$ reason you mentioned..

my current cbr will fill this void..

so basically a sports bike harley, dirtie 30 b/day pressie:)

The other thing I forgot to mention was you do only have one life so you might as well buy things that make you smile, I just wish I could have cashed one of my kids in long ago to buy more toys. I would have a MV already but after test ride last year (blue/silver) for only 1hr my body hurt to much with extreme riding position & stiff throttle. I would buy it to just look at in lounge room but my wife already says I don't pay enough attention to her hehe.

I'll try not to drool over your new ride :-)

Mate someone needs to make all the hard day to day choices.... hahaha

I wish i had this problem!

I'd go the Duk, for reasons alreay mentioned... but then again if you love both, flip a coin if you dont like what the coin says you have your answer!

Let us knwo what happens! :D

The Nasho doesn't like any bikes that don't respect it. You must be stinging to get this bike mate. I'd love one if I could afford it.
