600 K3 track bike

looking for a track bike and the storm will be for sale very soon. check out the bike which i will be having a look this coming sunday at parramatta. what do you 'guys' think? how much is should i offer? :ayyy:

Be careful their Shane.There is pictures of 2 diffrent bikes in that advert.

All the bikes on the stands is #18 , yet the picture of the rider with white shirt over his leathers is #83

I cant see clearly if they are both ex champions ride days bikes or not.Best advice is take a pen and paper to jot down some frame/engine numbers,also whats on the bikes etc.

If your dealing directly with Scott from Champions he wont diddle you,but other might.

Now apart from the above,its a flaming {not too be confused with "hot and fast"} Suzuki :thefinger_red: they should be paying "you" to take it away :mod_smilie_rockwoot

Personally $10,000 is a lot of money to spend on a track bike mate.When you consider the amount of use,no insurance and the higher risk of crashing. End of the day its your money and if this is the bike you want/love it wont matter what people say you`ll know its right for you.

Price does seem a little high for the sook though. 03s are around 6-8000 that Ive seen. Even if Scott doesnt still own it Im sure he'd be able to give at least some history on it.

As you said though if its what you want does the price really matter? Buy it, ride it, enjoy it:ayyy:

One of the guys on OSB just purchased a 600rr that won the QLD supersport championships in 2005 (wouldn't it be funny if a 600rr didn't win the QLD champs in 2005?) for 11k? (or was it 12k?) but... Slicks and expensive stuff (ohlins?) I don't think a K3 600 would be worth 10 these days even though it has all road gear included

nah 10k is way to much...i got my k5 600 for 7k!!!
there was a k3 on www.formula-extreme.com.au for a while in canberra for 6500. if its still there he will be desperate by now!!!

10K is way to much for a trackie if you're nut a superstar that makes A grade look slow. Spend half that and get something that you can fall off and not worry too much about
