braided brake lines?? [Archive]

Over Xmas Im prepairing the FZR for next years season. I want to fit some braided lines to both F&R Also I want to re-mount my rear shock canister so I need a longer braided line for that.

Firstly I need to know were I can get braided lines made, at a resonable price, in the Gosford/Newcastle area?

Secondly Is the shock canister line the same as a brake line??

Thirdly Is it cheaper to have them pre-made, eg Ebay, or custom made, does anyone know who makes them?

My Kevlar rear line cost $170 from Stamnas in QLD.
You can put Kevlar on rear and clutch if they are cheaper but not on fronts, go stainless there.

Try Hel lines , not sure if they do custom lengths etc but standards are no problem:ayyy:

i agree with clarkey HEL for the win, read their page, they make custom applications and one off's. Contact them they are fantastic to deal with and i had my stuff in my hands in 4 days, probably take a bit longer if you want something custom made, but i am sure they will be able to help, plus they are australian owned and run so back an aussie business !

I have had GALFER's on most of my bikes, but had HEL lines on one which were great quality and available in Aust..

Great:: Ive sent an Email off to HEL & am waiting a reply.
I see thay are in QLD which makes it eazy to talk to them & tell them what I need.

206.50 including postage from superbikesupply. Maybe they buy in bulk so can afford to offer your a better deal than direct from the manufacturer?
