Ummmm......are you using them because they are safer in a collision?

How does the weight compare to your previous battery?

Mostly using them cause they actually perform in a total loss system, whereas the lead acid didnt.
All the foam is mainly to make it fit in the place that the lead acid was and not move around, but the foam brings the total weight of the batpak up to 1.6kg. Still 400gr lighter than the unprotected lead acid.

Did the whole Drag Race night without charging.
6 runs and never went below 12.3v
At the start of the night engine off voltage was 13.6 and the next morning was 13.1.

Heres a few shots of a LiFePO4 batpak Armin made for one of his clients. Its a Ford GT40 race car. The bat uses the same cells I have but 12 of them arranged to produce 12v and 30Ah. Look at the tricky circuit board, very clever.

God I love Data. Heres todays voltage readings from Eastern Creek ride day. Did 5 sessions without charging.
Got to 11.2 volts during the session but engine still ran fine. These figures are similar to the last ride day I did.
