I have been watching the thread on www.trakdaze.com about a new race class pre 2000that looks like it may get up and running .Sounds like fun all I need to do is get faster if all goes well and this gets up and running I will be joining in .

Had a call from James Spence (East Coast series / Circuit Breakers) last night. He has read the posts and is very keen to get this class going.
He wants to incorporate the Clubsports into it, which suits our proposal and generally agrees with the classes and names.

Now.... all we need to do is get ppl interested.

As the East Coast series is a national event, with a round at P.I. later in the year, this is something for eveyone not just NSW. If it grows then it could become a std class for each state.. then an interstate challenge..

Please let everyone know, it would be great to turn what was just an optimistic idea into reality.

Please send the link to these threads to anyone you think may be interested........

Anyone else keen ,beside Bitches as I know he will have a crack at it with me. If so check out www.TrakDaze.com click the forum link and check it out threads on the new class

wow i cant beleive they organised sumthin over there!!!:D
could be fun and cheap by the sounds of it. i been thinking about the pre 88 class myself seeing as i know so much about the old gixxers...but i just cant justify, or afford for that matter, another bike!!! i also thing the twin 650 class could be fun as well....im surprised there is enuf interest to support another new class. but it is very good to see!!:D

I was looking at the twin650 class but the pre2000 class seemed like a better option and I already have the bike for it so that makes it easy

It is suprising that they organised something, but i think this has bigger scope than just the kwaka guys.

Anyway i'm keen, apparently it'll cost around $200 for a race meeting, plus an annual license for $225, then there's race practice for about $120 a day. Not too bad when ya think about it.....real racing.

Damn i better get a lap timer

When Mono gets back from hols he will be able to let everyone know the go.
I know he had extensive talks with James about this issue just before he went on holidays.
