Pierre Terblanche, SouthAfrican, head of the Design Dept. in Ducati, has handed his resignations from the Borgo Panigale company.
Exact reasons behind the divorce have not been disclosed, but it was common knowledge in Ducati that Terblanche had been excluded from the recent design decisions on the 1098, 848 and new Monster, as in strong disagreement with the guidelines coming from the Top Management.
Main project that got Terblanche signature have been the 999 and the Multistrada, both projects not exactly considered the most stylish bikes in Ducati history.
Also under Terblanche leadership the Sport Classic line, those Ducati bikes inspired to the '60s/70s but carrying the latest technology in components.
The latest Terblanche creation has been the Hypermotard, a great success when it comes to styling.
