was reading cycle torque today.. ZX 10's going for 13990.. thats about 5k of retail.. hondas, blackbird and vtr also advertised very cheap at bout 12k and 11k from memory..

2nd hand bike buyers could be snavelling a new bargain instead if they are quick

The Kwaka got very positive reviews by the test riders (journos) in the latests bike mags. I don't mind the look, except for the blinkers on the mirrors.

Personally I quite like the new Fireblade, good for Honda to lead from the front IMO, rather than simply put new blinkers on an old design. I haven't seen one in the flesh mind you, only in pics so maybe I will change my mind ....

im lead to believe the flat nose is to make the bike easier to change direction at speed, cant wait to see how they all go in supers

Its debatable due to the launch but the R1 still romps away even after they click into 2nd gear.

Considering my K6 thou will easily reel in a similar modified 07 R1 when I had standard gearing and he was 1 tooth down on the front I will need to see more evidence of the new 10R being a HP king.

I would take a balanced chassis and handeling any day over raw power.

Any car or bike can be made to pump out a bazillion kw's/ Hp etc etc, thats only 50% of it though, the other 50% is the person driving/riding.. the guy I chopped was imo, not the best of riders, he should have at least crossed the following lights at the same time as I did.

Ive witnessed many times people at Wakefield with lots of power pull a shit time, as compared to people with less power, although having great driving ability.

well theres something wrong with that speedo cause it was getting wedged at 189mph (304kmh) so you could say its doing 200mph before correction.
but the R1 got away from it. :mod_smilie_rockwoot
