Hmmm Should I really go nuts, as I need a new trailer.... just wondering if I should lash out to the max and get something along these lines..... or should I just stick with something like a 7/8 X 5 box trailer.........

It all depends on how fast you are I suppose... Are you allowed to be slow and have schmick gear?

If you can afford it and have somewhere to park it, go for it!

mmmm it looks schmick and we could cover it in rats signs lol

if u can afford it do it
but a box trailer works just aswell
but i guess may be easier to tow all the way from canberra aswell..

You need to go to a few track days and have a look around :lmao:

I think youd regret it... cost wise you might end up thinking you could have used that spare cash for bike bits. I've a nice open trailer, I love it... would only want an enclosed one if I was either rich, or doing TDs so often Id want to just leave the whole kit packed in the trailer and just go each time.

Nice trailer - but purpose built. The advantage with the open trailer is that you can always put a fridge on it (we all have moved fridges before) and you can put large loads of whatever on and it still fits. Unless this is parked undecover and out of site, it will be a magnet for thieves who think the bikes and gear are inside - especially if you have a heap of stickers on the side. $1000 will get you a pretty good trailer. I used the chassis off my old box trailer, bought an aluminium tray off a ute and now I can either put 2 road bikes on it or remove the skids and put the sides back on for transporting anything else.

I am leaning towards the Enclosed purpose built trailer.... as I am also considering upgrading to a second track bike at a later date.... prob next year..... also, it will enable me to keep all my gear in the trailer all locked up and ready to go, that way, I can also keep the garage free of bike gear.... which will also enable me to put my car back in the garage......

Also, i am considering moving upto Brisbane in the new year, so will inevitably be making the odd pilgrimage back down to NSW for track days etc @ EC / OP..... so the benefits of the enclosed trailer are pretty high, it will definitely allow more gear to be stored out of the garage etc..... also if travelling down to EC / PI etc...... I can overnight without fear that my shit will get knocked off out of the trailer overnight.......Oh and I only have a track / race bike.... so the only riding I do is at the track etc...

I reckon the fully enclosed trailer would be awesome. You could put a small lounge and a bar fridge in there but at the same time it would be really really hot in there in summer.

But seriously you could look professional like pulling up to the track with one of those type trailers in your own custom paint job. :ayyy:

Spend that much on a trailer and you better be able to live in it because Id say when someone else finds out....

When you back in Australia Swabs?

If you've got somewhere to store it, go the enclosed trailer. I'd have one if I could lock it up in the garage.
Also after every track day bikes need work/checks. Things come loose...as you know. So bikes will still have to come out, not just left in there till the next track day.
