AGV sport Titan (http://www.agvsport.com/2003/2003/gloves/titan/wbn_large.jpg)
• 1.1 premium drum-dyed cowhide
• High tensile nylon thread stitching used throughout
• Metal mesh composite armor
• Ram air induction vents protected by hard plastic located on fingers
• Additional layers of leather in high-abrasion areas on the fingers and palm
I've had these a little while.... 4 months..?
VERY comfy! very breezy, not so good in winter but still do the trick...
I had one spill in them at about 50km/h palms first and they seem to have held up pretty good...
Only thing is that the stitching in the palm came loose in one section.
You'd expcet some damage after the spill so i still back em and say there awesome!

ultra comfy and have all the right stuff and breathe easy so no more stinky hands from winter gloves in summer and they are still warm enough in winter aswell

I also had joe rockets, they were a 180 pair... so i expected great livability out of them. However, before my stack, some of the protective bits started to crack... through "wear and tear" WTF???? And after my stack, even though the palms held up, the glove tore along the stitching along the side of my hand, between the thmb and apex finger.
So I am never coming near Joe Rocket again. Over priced, and poor build quality.... look the trick but simply dont do the job!
Thats my two cents :)

I have Teknic gloves and they are fantastic. The palms are made of Kangaroo hide which has the best abrasive qualities of all leathers. They were about $200+ new but are on special at the moment at Sydney City M/C for $150 ish. They have that pre moulded curve in the fingers and fit like gloves should.

Got some Pro-Grips, double leather on palms, carbon/kevlar inserts for knuckles, and finger protection. Nice and soft, curved shaped for fingers and surprisingly waterproof, had 'em for over 3 years. From Ducati Penrith about $150

Check out these new gloves:
Longtime makers of some of the best and most affordable crash protection available to motorcyclists, Knox is expanding into glove production.
The Knox Handroid gloves are the flagship of the new Hand Armour range and incorporate new technologies designed to make your hands safer.
Immediately visible is the hard-but-flexible exoskeleton that cushions impacts and appears to prevent hyperextension of the fingers. there's also protection for the vulnerable,
but hitherto unprotected scaphoid (the bone that connects your thumb to your wrist) and a ratchet lacing system to achieve a perfect fit, preventing the glove
from flying off in a crash. A gel honeycomb structure provides impact protection for the wrist. We've come to rely on Knox's back protectors in our daily riding and
have even been told one saved us from paralysis in a crash; it's exciting to see that kind of protection finally coming to gloves.

I don't like the boa cuff tightening system, it's crap on snowboarding shoes and I wouldn't want it on a glove.

dang those knox look good I just bought two sets of gloves.
On the street I use RS Taichi 369 short glove (US$129)
On the track/faster rides RS Taichi GP evos (US$220)
Both fantastic gloves but neither crash tested and I wish to keep it that way :)
I suggest looking online I got both from sport bike track gear (http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Categories.bok?category=Motorcycle+Gloves+from+Spo rtbiketrackgear.com) their reviews are ok, they give good sizing information. I didn't try either glove on before I bought them but I was able to get the right size.
The states offer a lot more stuff at very competitive prices and with the dollar so high. I wouldn't buy stuff over here unless I absolutely had to.

I would stay away from Astar. Too many stories of them ripping apart during a crash! I like spidi myself. Have a pair of pentas and love them, they are quite pricey though.
P.s. Captain, those Knox gloves look horn. Any chance of getting a link?

I doubt you can find them locally. Had to buy my Knox back protector and chest guard from the UK
The gloves aint on the Knox site yet (to be expected as they dont come on sale until march next year). They sure sound awesome from the blog, although cant really just go off that, of course they are going to jazz it up:rules:

I have teknic with roo palm as well great got about 6 other pair as well for differing seasons and weather. Hard to get one glove to serve all purposes, gloves are so important as in an off the hands can contact the ground first. Although I have done 3 head first contacts
