Anyone know if you can change the speedo on a 03 GSXR to MPH?

You can probably buy those face plate kits (LED ones) from the USA... some of them have MPH with a small KPH readout inside it.. which means the needle would be pointing correctly still.

hold both select and adjust at the same time for approx 5-10 secs

this switches it from MPH to KM/H supposedly for the US models that go into

canada.

You can switch the odmeter over to mph, it is actually quite easy. Put the bike into diagnostic mode (should be a plug under the pillion perch with a rubber cover on it, remove cover and short the 2 terminals with apiece of wire, if their are more than 2 wires going to the plug then you have the wrong plug.) and then turn the ignition on and hold the "select" & "adjust" buttons down. When the display starts flashing you can toggle between the two with the adjust button, then press the select button to lock in the new preference. Your odomoter will allso change to miles so it will drop in value, and will rise back up again if you reset to kph.
