Been a super day today. The weather man is on drugs.!!!!!!!!!!!!:eyecrazy:
Friday is supposed to be fine,
Sat chance of a shower
Sun chance of a shower.
But today was sopposed to be rain heavy at times!
With some luck it should be a cloudy weekend, but little rain..

What an incredible day! I loved every minute of it (despite my DNS in race 2 due to a 50c part failing on me) :cursing:
Can't wait for tomorrow! Best experience yet of my quarter century here on planet earth (excepting the obvious activities too lurid for a family orientated forum) :ayyy:

exactly my point about an earlier thread where i said said track days have taken away the need for alot of up and coming riders to actually experience what it is like to do a race ! therefore they fall into the track day routine of it being easy to do and no pressure and of course alot cheaper. obviously there is a need for both avenues but more riders should take cedric,s and slac,s experience today and get out there and do a race as there is no comparison in experience and the adrenalin buzz u will gain from it !

I would b out there this year if i could afford it, next year :ayyy: Wetty did u and a back marker touch in race 1 at 9?

good day today. I enjoyed marshalling at turn 12. Kept a little busy there at times. Definitely want to go racing, probably next year.
And congrats to Wetty on a couple of wins today. It was fun watching you wheel stand out of turn 12.
P.S. Sidecars are probably the most crazy form of racing I've seen.

I had a fantastic weekend! Can't wait to get out there on the grid again and mix it with other racers of a similar skill level.. I can't believe it took me this long to get my arse into gear and begin racing - it's a far more intense and visceral experience than track days and I'd encourage anyone who's giving it some consideration to just give it a try. At no point did I feel unsafe or that there were riders there who were willing to put my safety at risk.. Unbelievable, fantastic stuff..
Most importantly though I need to thank Oz Motorcycle Leathers and WHITTNEY for everything you did for me over the weekend - Irena and i never sleep you are great folk, and WHITTNEY you work magic on the suspension of every bike of mine you touch so thank you guys so much :)
Can't wait for the next one! :ayyy:

Hey Cedric, nice bike... How good is PCRA you get to use a 98 cause it looks the same.. I am in the hunt for the same.. How do they stack up against the GSXR750T?
Cedric
05-04-2010, 10:38 PM
Hi SLAC; mate if I didn't have green blood I'd ride a Suzuki 750T anytime. it's a far superior package to mine. Similar power but a lot less weight.. My '99 7R is exactly the same from '95 thru '03 so there's no problem with eligibility and also no advantage by using one over a T except the stability and the front end..
The T's seem to walk away on the straights but I guess I need to try to play to the 7's strengths and get on the throttle earlier without worrying about tank slappers etc and the stability thru corners is solid as.. Just don't try to use your modern 600 lines thru T1 on one! Fuuuuuuckk..... I'll never do that again! :lmao:

Thanks dude, i am still thinking a ZX7, GSXR750 or a ZX6.. As for the lines, just open it up and have a go, i think you will be suprised they will take the same lines as the newer bikes, you just need to have faith in the tyres and suspension..

Zeno did mine and i think it said new lap record on the bottom of the sheet. he's not real good with fittin power points to houses but great with suspension
Im no good at suspension or power points, but fuk me i can do plumbing pretty damn well... LMAO... And yep i saw the R next to the times, i stand corrected Paul...

Its going to be completly stripped and cleaned (bearings greased / replaced) bouncy bits replaced fixed..
