You'll be doing uni stuff of Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday? You need to organise yourself a little better mrkotter :)

There's not much to it Oggy, basically you're watching the area from your flag point to the next one down the track which has a marshal on it. When an incident occurs you pull out the correct flag and wave it to warn the coming riders and call it in to Race Control. You'll pick it up in no time.

....and yea....I'll come wave some flags.

Pretty much as OOC said Oggy, they'll give you a Flaggies briefing before hand and provide you with an esky of Drinks and Lunch, usually you'll be teamed up with someone more experienced (if they have the numbers) I enjoy flagging, it's a good way to get up close to the action, and don't worry about what to do if a riders crashed and injured, your job is flags, they have medical for that ;)

Not only that its a great way to get real close to the action, & have the best seat in the house!!
