i was at the creek on friday 19th and yrt was there testing i heard that the 600`s where laping within 0.2 of the lap record at the creek ......keven cirtian was looking very goood and very fast he came past me into t2 backing it in and spinning it out (great to watch wish i could of stayed with him longer) ....he now has a bike that can win the championship this year i think and i hope he dose well showing up these young blokes ........i see now why he was 2 times world champ runner up in 600`s
pat metcalf ( flat chatt pat )was fast also and i think one to watch this seasion now he has steped up to a good factory team and with a guy like curtian in the same team will only get quicker :ayyy:
good luck at the island next week kev show em what a old bloke on a good bike can do :ayyy:

Who's R6 is #23
there was a smashed nose cone with #23 and YRT stickers on it
and the matching side fairings from BOTH sides (both also busted up)
in the garbage bin next to the RATS pit on saturday.
Triumph saw them too.

They are doing FX but also doing Round 1 @ P.I next w/e
They were not lapping near record time and had problems with the new tyre.
Would be good to see Kev win next weekend :)
it must of been a half decent off... there was pretty much all fairs and even a snapped rear brake calliper amongst other items...
i seagulled the braided lines (brand new!) and a tail easily fixed...

I'll tell you this for nuthin...... the Latest R1's are hard to get power out of.... the "Race" ones I have done so far are down a fair way on other model thou's with just a full system and mapping, and right through the rpm, not just up top. I doubt they'll win SFA on them this year.

Where't they 600's?
And the the new R1 ... wasn't this bike with the best motor since the wheel was invented? please nobody get upset, I couldn't stand it again, I'm just saying.

When I get back to Sydney I will post up a graph with the R1 vs a GSXR and CBR1000...... the R1 will be a race bike, the others roadies with systems and mapping. LOL

the couple of big bang r1's i've come across on my stock 06 zx10r havent been too hard to pass even in a straight line, i think they just put the power down different.
Grant Hay got his moving pretty well, but his SBK spec bike wasnt any quicker than his FX spec.

well at least not before the 200m marker hey Paul. Hahahaha'
They do put the power down differently, but it isn't BETTER anywhere, that is the problem, you will see what I mean when I get back and post the graph.
