Ladies and Gents,
Does anyone know honest and decent motorbike people to go for a blue slip?
I am re-rego'ing my CBR, and in the nearing future, will possibly be blue slipping my old VFR.
Are there any guys that are less likely to not make a fuss regarding the full system which is currently fitted to my bike?

Where are you located at? There is a half decent bloke that I went to at Doonside.

I am in the city pretty much. Ultimo / Glebe.
Am I allowed to travel soo far on an unrego'd bike, when there are closer shops nearby?

You can travel to and from the Blue slip/ rego office, no need to put on any sort of plates. I rang the RTA office to confirm.
If you are looking for one closer call the RTA and find out who is nearby and and go and talk to them. Play dumb asking do they know if it has to have a stock exhaust.
Note also check that the RTA don't want to have a look. If it has been unregistered for awhile they may also want to have a look and charge you $421 for the privilege.

Try these guys, they're pretty laid back:
Bathis and Borg
25-27 Salisbury Street, Botany, NSW 2019
(02) 9666 4616
Give them a call first and make sure he can still do blueslips for a bikes. ( talk to Jason)

Thanks guys!
The bike has been unrego'd for about 3-4 months..
Time to get the beast going again!
When I spoke to the lady from the RTA it was supoosed to be $32... 4 places they gave me numbers for are unavailable... well, numbers being redundant.
Once up and going, will be hoping to get riding on some road rides! Maybe the Caves? If anyone should be keen? :)
Cheers again!

20min ride out to Chipping Norton down the M5, see Mark at MAS Motorcycles. I keep and run my dyno from there.

Bike only place will try to screw you over with full system, any auto place that does blue slips will do bikes aswell. Although not silly, they dont know what to look out for, and stand to make no money of you, as bike stores seems to see a walking $ sign.
Caves run sounds good :)

Not all bike shops Johnny! I go out of my way to book in bikes when I might already have a full book in sheet of cars.

Love that attitude with the "what loud pipes ?" too, something Ive never figured out, like why care ? your responcibilty ends as soon as it leaves driveway, as can re-fit anything you like once passed :lmao:
