Hmm, I was planning on waiting untill the Motorcycle Expo to get a bargin on a new set of Joe Rocket leathers, but this just seems like too good a deal.

What sort of place would people put Berik leathers. Like better than Joe Rockets but not quite Alpine Stars, or not quite Dianese etc?

Sorry but I had never heard of Beriks until I read something on hear a few weeks bac so I really don't know what sort of quality range they sit in.

Quick google and can't find anything really specific, except it seems alot of the 125 and 250 GP guys use them (by choice).

Will probably head down this arvo and check em out regardless, see what sizes they got left.

Cheers

They're up there with the best, to my knowledge, I doubt so many top racers would use them if they weren't. Sponsorship is one thing, but ...

I have had them for about a year, maybe 20 track days, and I'm very, very happy with them, other than a little dirty (white) they are awesome. I have spoken to riders who have crash tested them, and they also speak well of them.

My Berik suit served me well in my crash, but now its totaly stuffed.

I was gona wait till i was healed and get a roo suit tailored to fit me, but the berik was a great fit for an off the rack suit and at that price hell i'll go there today! Helps that i only live around the corner too hehe

'Cause if it is, that's the best deal I've seen from a shop in a loooong time. Especially in Australia.

There are different levels of Berik ... the above is the one I have. I bought it chepa as they were introducing them in Australia, they normally retail around the $ 1,400.
Unless I'm mistaken, the ones in the advert are the cheaper ones.

I jut called em, wouldnt mind another 1 piece

They only have a 48 and a 50 in 1 piece, and a few small sizes in two piece... Unless your a midget you're shit outta luck!

Awesome suits though! I rate the roo ones very highly

I don't know about the Berik sizing... but I had an A* MX-1 42/52 and thought it was perfect till I tried my Dainese Steel 40/50!! Dam it fits me well!!! If the Berik's 50 is the same size even I would consider getting a spare.:ayyy:

I went about 1pm today.
They had 1 x size 50 one-piece (with coffee hump) and a few 50s and 52 in two-piece (no coffee hump).

Plays in the front row for a League team...been off with injury so put just a few kilos on...

That photo is so ugly. Never thought you could drape skin on a skeleton - but it appears you can!

Just picked one up size 52, biggest they had. I am about 5'8 75kg and she fits like a glove, fkn prick to get it on without my skins on though. Very impressed with the construction, nice strong looking suits. Good armour with plenty of venting spots. Def a great price too. As for the colour, as long as you want the white/black/red your all good. Doesn't quite match the big, but shit happens.

Can't wait to test out the knee sliders at OP in December

Holy crap! Did you guys read the rest of the adverts on that page. Illiteracy in Oz is on the rise I guess. I thought posting adverts would require using a spell checker or proof reading prior to publication?

P.50 of Cycle Torque

Rivet Airbag Jacket
"These Jackets Have A Real Airbag Inside If You Part Form You Motorcycle It Will Inflate Arround You In .02 Seconds

C.E. Aruonr & Removable Thermal Liner"

Even in the Berik leathers advert they spelt 'Stretch' as 'Streach'

It's OK, I'm bored after my ride and have nothing else to do this afternoon
