... this post seems familiar. :confused1:
i've been riding for about 4 years and i have had four bikes ... its a disease.
my first was a lil NSR150 and at the best part of 6'4'' it was little. had a 90 section front and 120 section rear tyre. (i blew it up on the way to the shop where i was trading it in on a 600 :stupid: )
the 600 was a k1 gsxr which i had a blast on but a few problems convinced me too trade it on one of those cool new 750s so i got a k5 750.
this was my commuter, fun bike, track bike, and she met the tarmac at both eastern creek and wakefield. then after fixing her up two months later on the way to the super bikes i put her into a guardrail at mt hotham.
i now have the k5s twin sister (identical) and she is just as hot. and somehow i have managed to put 12000kms on it in the last 3 months without kissing the bitumen... i think i need a track bike.

Ahh ok no worries...
I might be able to help,, however im confusing sometimes.
All you do is you go back to the top of this page
click NSW RATS
Then choose what area you want to post a thread in...... "Dribble"
Click on that
Then at the top of that page there should be a button saying "New thread" or something like that where it normally says "Post reply"

theres a very good chance of 6 being in garage by june.. new roadie on the list and will keep 600 for trackie..
but am thinkin bout different options for road cause it will only be used on the road..
one thing i can say is ive owned em all since new and hondas realibility is legendary..
civic now 8 years old(besides tyres etc)in 130000k's it has cost me $100 for new gasket (6 years) and $100 for battery:ayyy: .... and it has been driven.. for a 1.6l 52k's 1st gear before rev limiter, 98k's second and 147'ks for 3rd.. back in its days it suprised a few cars with rolling/traffic light races:)
Xr 250(stolen) 2002 replaced with the XR400 2005 pictured.. both get abused and sometimes not started for 3 months.. drain the carbie and start with in a couple of kicks.. droped in creeks, dropped at least twice everytime i go but they just get picked up kicked and keep going
cbr600rr.. what can i say cost me nothing besides running coast in 31ooo k's
euro.. fantastic family car.. and quiker then a commondoor.. so still can have fun..only had it a year and yet to find rev limiters but will within the next.. and cost me nothing but runnin costs so far:ayyy:
honda for quality style and realibilty..i sound like a walking advertisement
Gotta say I've been bitten by the Honda bug like Chado. However my discovery was not by word of mouth, rather, I went to work for a Honda only motorcycle franchise. I was a Kawasaki man and remember saying to my then girlfriend now wife, that I'll be soon brain washed by Honda engineering, I certainly was. It didn't take long either.
My last three bikes were all Honda's - Fireblade, Blackbird and now 600RR trackie.
I've also extended that to a Honda cage - Euro and am thinking about how to convince the missus of the just released Legend - 240kw all wheel drive :)
I've gone to the extent of all my lawn equipment - mower, brushcutter and blower and all four stroke. Gotta love the self propelled mowers on steep yards :ayyy:
And if I had a boat, I dare say it would be powered by Honda too

I actually rode a VTR2 250 for about 3 weeks, it was pretty damn decent for city riding.

Just incase you didn't go to 14/01/07 EC track day this is the other one :-)
Not normally that wide turn 2 but tyres where very sad, thanks Birdman for pic. The front end on this bike is from above bike, it's not the fastest out there but it's fun.

Think you could be my brother, like VFR & have a rottie. I'm trying not to add another rottie to my family since I lost my best mate to cancer late 05.
Birdman gee you even have room to move in your leathers in that VFR pic :lmao:

Yeah he came out relatively unscathed. The bike copped most of the impact and threw him off. Both claimed the other ran the red light and there were no witnesses. Bum deal.
He gave me his Spada though in return for completely fucking my Across. Good bloke.
