Fair point, but exceeding speed limits aren't the moot point. Cutting off road users via reckless driving are what tips the scale between responsible bending of rules versus outright breaking them.
There -is- such thing as safe speeding, but not running other drivers off the road.

Fun police? You've got a strange definition of fun. Cutting other users off, on a jam packed peak out harbour bridge is the most stupidest thing I can think of. I guess if you were on my bike you'd think differently.
This isn't about speed mate, its about people being down right dangerous and endangering other peoples lives BY CHOICE

On a seperate note, I am in Spain, and have been in Portugal for a week. One thing I wish I could bring back with me is the general public and police view to speding that is current in portugal.
120 on highways, and everyone does more. NOt one HWP in around 1500-2000km's of driving.And in peak holiday season,,, not a single accident encountered...
Although I wish that the bike riders here would wear some gear!
