Good time to put raceglass on :ayyy:
What's the go with the bottom of the forks? Can you just clean it up a little, or do you need to replace the fork(s)?

while i had it apart, i changed the rear subframe to an alloy one, along with the fender eliminator, and a carbon undertray for the rear seat section.. have a full carbon fibre set of fairings and seat to go back on it..

Oz, could pm me some pics of what's available for a 848? Mainly a rear hugger.
Cheers
ozducati
19-08-2009, 10:58 PM
PM sent .. can pretty much get anything for the 848/1098/1198 street and track / Hypermotard / Monster 696 & 1100 / 749-999 street and track / & MV Agusta F4 750/1000's ..
mate thats hardly any damage at all! You're one lucky mofo ;)

I know, i think the bike almost flipped, landed on the nose and dropped back down on the right hand side.. hence the fork leg/bar end damage,, could've been a lot worse..

I would have left the cf the way it was with no paint it would have been one of a kind in AUS, from the pics the cf has a very good finish & would have had a larger bling effect.

1down, the CF letters and numbers showing on the fairings are not stickers, the painter masked the CF then painted over it leaving the CF exposed, then clear coated it all.. looks beautiful.. am in the process of setting up a website.. i have a shipment leaving Europe today, mainly 848/1098/1198 stuff, PM me if there's something your after and i will email you ..
