I have been riding two up alot more recently and i wondered if there are any basic changes that people use to make it more enjoyable. Tweaks to the suspension i guess so i can still have fun with confidence, plus anything else that people suggest.

You can fit more than one person on a bike? :confused1:

have you thourt about makeing some adjustment in the rear shock if its to soft while theres a pillion just add some more preload to the rear shock. just make sure you make the same adjustments to the front to keep an even ballance

Up the Pre Load on the rear shock to compensate for the extra weight, just remember when your riding solo it will feel very hard now 1 up !!! hopefully you have a remote preload adjuster :) and can quickly lower it again as needed

Yes, like he said...

Put a few more pounds in the tyres as well - more dramatic weight shift..

Preload the tail a little more than you do the fork - as the weight is all back there and you still need this bike to steer!

I do nothing as simply wont pillion because I wont take responsibility for another life on a motorbike, if I stuff up then I'm willing to take the fall on my own.

I suggest if you do pillion to do nothing except maybe a few more psi in your tyres because you should be riding allot slower than you would on your own so the adjustments really wont be noticeable.

Thats what i was after. I just wanted basic adjustments that are easy to return to normal once im on my own.
Tyre pressure is a nice easy one and i shall adjust the preload a little as you both said (and keep note of what i did haha)
Im not out there to scare my pillion or myself, i just want it to be more enjoyable and safer by making adjustments.
Thanks for the replys :ayyy:
