I wonder if the forks are any good, their $9000 forks......they'd look quite tidy on my 1098s.....

That first one almost looks like it had all it's road gear removed pre-crash?

If the insurance company is writing them off then you know the replacement parts are going to be expensive and I don't think you'll pick up too many spares at your local wreckers.
Looks like the first one hit a gutter fairly hard, it smashed the brembo caliper off!
Oh well glad it isn't me.

I'm tempted to go along and have a look at the RVF400's up for sale.
Turn it in to a track bike. Anyone else thinking of going along on the 26th or 27th.

yeah, but would make one hell of a track bike!
Bit of race glass, few bits and pieces, off you go........

I don't think the 1st one would be, check out how bent the front wheel is. it looks like the left brake caliper came off as well.

we had a dude at EC about a month ago that binned his Desmo.. a couple of the other Desmo owners commented that in the rear, and LHS fairings + a new cluch MC/Lever there was close to $32,000 in damage..
those road fairings are all carbon i think to which would explain the hefty cost...

Dont get your hopes up, the last RVF that got sold there went for $3600....:cursing:
