Far out request, i need to replace the front sprocket bolt (i dont need to, i want to) Honda says its a special tensile bolt but it appears to be common across all the RR's

Part 90037-422-003

Sydney City have 2 in melbourne, anyone know any workshops that carry a fair bit of honda spares in Sydney? I need one today :)

Part 20:

Sydney City would the best I could suggest, unless you want to go to Metros and rip one off a crashed bike?

Maybe Action at Parramatta, but I wouldnt give those bastards the time of day let alone my business.

Hmm, no tools with me. Sydney City out, Metros out. Might call beaconsfield or sydney city wreckers..

EDIT: Beaconsfield to the rescue, they have a CBR250RR they can pull a new one off - sweet :D

i'm confused . y are u replacing it with a used 1. if they are pulling it off a new bike it has already been torqued u once. same as the 1 u took off.

Because the head on this bolt is a bit shagged wetty.. confusing i know ;) Manual states you can reuse the bolt so I'm not concerned its been torque'd before..

oh i see. you must use a 6 sided socket when removing or it will do that

Thanks for the tip - but the bolt was like that prior to me buying the bike.
