Just been looking at some old pictures. I noticed that 12 months with RATS trackdays has made a difference. Most people would only take 12 weeks but I'm a slow learner. Be great to see more improvement in the next 12 months. Has anyone else noticed their own improvement.http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/3144/100508jpm1112.jpg (http://img268.imageshack.us/i/100508jpm1112.jpg/)http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/100508jpm1112.jpg/1/w640.png (http://g.imageshack.us/img268/100508jpm1112.jpg/1/)http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/9242/250709jpm0805.jpg (http://img127.imageshack.us/i/250709jpm0805.jpg/)[URL=http://g.imageshack.us/img127/250709jpm0805.jpg/1/][IMG]http://img127.imageshack.

I agree, HUGE improvement going from a Suzuki to a Honda

:D

Nahh, Well Done... your control on the bike is far better then before, which makes you safer on the street, and when your mates turn up the heat on the street you'll have a FAR bigger safety margin!... top stuff.

Nice Slow Bro.. can really see the difference in body position and therefore control..

However, I see no true man's bikes in this thread since Kawasaki hasn't been mentioned :ayyy:

I spent a whole year, 16 odd track days at 2:00 -> 1:55.. then the 4 i have done this year, down to 1:48 or so

Wes did exactly that last sunday! :lmao:

The person I can think of that improved most in 1 year is Specs/Wes. He started doing 2min+ around EC and now he's racing and doing under 1:44 on a 600 with crap suspension. I've his takes off and his suspension is utter crap and it did some nasty things to the front tyres.

As for me... Before:

I have to say this topic is one of the best i have seen on this site, it could beat the "what shits you thread" in terms of value and defining what this SITE IS ALL ABOUT.

I have to say without being disrespectful i logged in the other day and scanned the new posts and saw threads like "what did you eat for dinner" or similar threads. Without reading them I was like WTF - this is NSW road and track BIKES??

So with that being said

Cmon you trackday regulars, forum whores, old hands, newbs, lurkers. Post that shit up as I know everyone who has done more than one trackday can find pictures of themselves that will show the progression we all have made since riding on the track or joining this site with its trackday focus etc.

If anything the data will prove wetty's theory on where to keep it.

I want to see all serious members of this forum post before during and current action or hero shots since being introduced to this addiction.

I personally will call out Frosty675, frostyscurse, pacey, bdinnerv, who comprise of my bike buddies "group" to post up scans of photos i know exist. Otherwise ill hax0r your shit and do it for you. I know you are reading this.

So in conclusion - go the green machines - a lot of improvement can be seen in the photos for before and after seeing the light - confirmation that kawasaki makes the best track bikes going around the wreckers :P

As the OP, no offence taken. But it's a social forum too, and I did 'apologise' for posting up something like this.
I trust the members who filled up 4 pages in this thread take no offence ether :D

Seriously though, I post up a lot (maybe I need a life) and much IS on bikes, inc technical stuff but have a look, they barely receive a reply. As someone who is interested in bikes, technicalities and all, I'd welcome it if others were to start more threads on those topics ... and keep them going. I say 'more' because there are heaps already :ayyy:

But anyhow, that's neither here and there. Back to the topic;

If you ride on the road too, which many of us do, a second bike+trailer means about an extra $100,000 on your mortgage or $500/month in rent extra just for the space. Add the cost of the track bike, trailer and trailer rego and it's no longer that hard to work out?

Great thread by the way, some massive improvements :ayyy:

Where there's a will, there's a way. My trailer is winched up to the garage roof with a boat winch so that I can park the car under it, and the bike is inside the house (no room in garage). With some creativity and lateral thinking, there's no need for extra space. :ayyy:
