Tyres for 'trackies'

Hey All,

very recently ourselves, & a few mates, have each purchased track bikes so we can come 'play' :ayyy:

Have had a few 'hit outs' on our road bikes, & definitely have 'the bug'.


Just wondered where y'all purchase your tyres from.......slicks , & other.....is there a particular spot y'all go to buy tyres, a discount tyre store, anywhere/anyone in Sydney, Central Coast or Newy you use & can recommend would be great !

I have a two Dunlop qualifiers for sale. 190x55.

They are off my bosses VTR trackie, only done around 200k's at e/creek, I saw one on friday on the rim and it had about 2.5mm outer tread left, 3-4mm centre tread left. He said other tyre is same.
They will pass scrutineering for a fair while, but hes getting slick fitted.

$160 each.

up the top of this page at mca have tyre sets at not bad prices i was buying preilli supercorser pros for 460 a set and getting 2 to 3 ride days out of em then i put on the road till stuffed tyres will be you bigest expence in doing ride days as you will be changeing them every 2nd day you will do ( i do like to spin it up comming out of turn 8 helps to turn the bike and is a shit load of fun) :crazysmiley:
