Heading back from the ride today I am turning off Galston road onto the pacific hwy, behind a 4wd just cruising along. At a side street a HWP is indicating to turn right, I notice he likes the look of my bike, maybe he noticed that it has a bit of rash on the left side.
Anway the next thing I know he is turning left. I turn right at the next street as I am taking a back way to my place, I notice in the mirrors I have a friend following me from a distance, I thought about stopping and waiting for him just to say hello I figure better of it. It is a 50 zone so I am going 50. I get to the end of the street and have to turn left to then turn right onto the main road again. I am sitting waiting to turn right and I notice that my "friend" is waiting at the previous street, just waiting for me. I turn around look at him and shake my head "like fuck off" I turn out and he turns the other way.
I am not sure why he gave me an escort as I barely hit the speed limit at anytime that he saw, I guess he was just discriminating against me because I was on a bike.
I normally don't partake in cop bashing but this guy was certainly not endearing himself to me, for future reference you will find me out the back of nowhere.

rego check would have shown that it was only registered the day before after being written off.

It's not a nice feeling is it. I've had cops do this to me before, even when I wasn't being a larrikin' on two wheels. :D

Was leading a group down the old road a few months back and noticed we were all being tailed by one of our "friends" so I pulled over, as did the rest of the group. Our friend realised he'd been sprung and so gassed it past us then did a u-turn just before a blind corner, came steaming back and pulled over. "Why have you stopped?" came the question. I replied "well we haven't had our coffee yet so we stopped to discuss where to go". He then felt it necessary to check all our licences before having to admit defeat and piss off. "Harrassment" comes to mind:cursing:

Must be the same guy that followed me on the old road.
I decided to go below the speed limit after following me for I do not know how many kms and after I decided to slow down further he pulled me over. Asked why I was going so slow - I said "first time I have really ridden on the road" got my license but did not ride much. At that point he pointed to me knee sliders and scraped boots and asked "well how do you explain those" - "oh that's when I go racing at Eastern Creek"
I was dragging him away from a mate who had just crashed his bike at the start of the old road so they could get the bike away out of site.
I was "testing" my new racechrono this arvo in my girlfriends Suzuki Swift :D and after a few passes decided I should move on, as soon as I turned the corner the HWP had pulled over an XR6 Turbo with "ABOVE THE LAW" written across the windscreen :lmao:

Did you watch the news?......it was all happening in Mt Druitt, LAPD style.
(Granted it was last year)
HWP punching & kicking a man after a 45 min chase.....I think the cops forgot their own cameras caught it all on tape, plus footage from Polair

Never saw clip or footage, but anyone who is willing to do a runer for 45 minutes, is somewhat a risk even when caught.
Why was he running though ?, mustve been something serious.

My friend is HWP in Mt Druitt (yeah they get extra perks....)
He started the chase but abandoned it after 15min when it started to get dangerous, another car picked it up once Polair made it and it went on for another 30min.
Some police are getting :spank: at the moment over it.
Idiot with a history of drink driving, and with a 6 yo, running from police....and he will be getting a tidy compensation cheque:dohsmiley:
One of the funniest things I have ever read was a little book celebrating Mt Druitt stations 50th anniversay and at the back it had 'you know you have worked at Mt Druitt when -
You can speak English AND fluent Houso
When you attend a domestic and the victim ends up the person of interest for assault police
there was over 100 quotes.....
Im not judging, just repeating what was in the book!

never.. well maybe :p
I couldnt tell you in over 23 years of driving how many times Ive been followed on the bike or in the car.. its what they do. if everyone did the right thing, we'd never see them.
Sure they are guilty of stereotyping motorists, although there is no shortage of potentials hitting their accelerators to much, so what can ya do.. imo only one thing, wait till they dissapear from the mirrors & tramp it.

Agree with you on that, supply and demand if there wasn't supply there wouldn't be a demand for HWP. I am certainly guilty of offering supply in the past but not in a residential street. But I wasn't exactly portraying the image of someone about to gun it, well not from 3rd at about 30 km/h sitting behind a 4wd who was behind another vehicle on the pacific hwy in a 60 zone. A
I have had them try to drag race (to 60kmh/h) me at night then flick on the lights to ask what I was doing. I knew they had to turn left at the next set of lights and thought pull in behind, I knew they were cops, what they didn't know I was in a un badged XR6 turbo. This was a few years ago, there was nothing in the law that you couldn't accelerate to the speed limit as fast you can.

Meaning? Is that illegal?
Re the accelating fast bit, the buggers can get you for neg driving, not fully being in control, racing and god knows what else now :cursing:

They assumed it was a standard xr6 so probably thought they could easily beat me. No it is not illegal though and yes today they could do for me just about anything.
