Well as it has been too long still I had to take the bike out today regardless what the sky looked like we headed out for a suburban ride........yes it rained just as we were getting ready to go

But is it just me or riding in the rain can be fun ...spinning the rear up trying to make sure it does not go too sideways

Always liked it the rain as keeps the throttle control skills up to speed.

FAARRRRRK the zx10r can step out with some throttle in the wet:mod_smilie_rockwoot:mod_smilie_rockwoot

I did a track day in the rain and reckon I learnt so much more about subtlety in the right wrist! even then the bike was rear sliding through most corners!

Road Riding not as much fun in the wet , as I think people see you even less than normally as they hurry about in bad weather.

Nothing like spinning the rear wheel when you are travelling along the road at the same time

My bike is all black so yeah it means washing time tommorrow.......

Yeap, lost count on the times Ive sat up till 3 am to go do old rd in storms, called an idiot by others, but loved it. NO-ONE on the rd, all wildlife sheltered, the dark. Cant wait to make it a regular thing as it once was :(

edit, ps, putty night run we did back here last yr, would have to be up there with the best experiences Ive had, along with riding old rd during storms. Just loved it, and cant wait to do again :o

Riding in the rain isn't bad if you do it all the time. I never had a car till I was 25 so I rode everywhere & the rain never fazed me. Now I only ride every now & then. I went for a spin o Wollombi with Greggy68 yesterday. Wasn't to bad but wow I'm out of practice in the wet.

sometimes i've gone riding just because it was raining and i like riding in the wet. never stayed up to 3am for it though.

i've occasionally been the only one who didn't pike on an organised ride cos it was pissing down. bring on the wet rides!

A few times I've had the bike skidding in the wet, I handled it better than I was expecting and haven't dropped it due to a slide yet but I prefer to do that on the track. The run-off is friendlier :ayyy:

I was out with biglunt yesterday and I think it depends where you are riding. We had a bit of fun coming out of corners winding it on etc. It's a good exercixe in throttle control.....mmmmmm.....looks like rain later.........BIGLUNT round 2?
