Yes I know it's not fun, and it probably doesn't go that fast (although his claimed top speed is impressive), but I am very interested in the technicalities. If an amateur can achieve this, what could really be accomplished?
Or is the story missing the important details ie, does he have to leave it in the sun for 3 days to go for a 20 min ride?
Comparing with those 'solar challenge' cars, that weigh next to nothing, and are a large flat solar panel it would be difficult to imagine that this guy's contraption would work. He only has a few panels, I can't imagine they could generate that much power :confused1:
