wudka
23-05-2009, 12:07 PM
The guy that "owns it", has broken into a secure car park to park it, and has done so, in a way that places it "out of the way".
The ignition key barrell is missing. I have reported it to the cops, but in doing so, all I checked was that the plate and type of bike match and that the plate hasnt been reported stolen.

Dont care how shit the bike is, its a matter of principle. If they rip a shit bike, they surely rip good bikes too.

And nobody likes to have their stuff taken.

Just seems very suspect.

I dont believe in cops, but what i wanted to know from them was if that bike was reported stolen.

But the funniest thing, is they didnt do a thing, as anticipated.

Common sense to us all who arent in the "crime fighting" buisness... the plate could be from a registered 650GT... or whatever they are... the bike could be stolen.

They werent intersted in looking at it even, etc.

Pathetic.

Why would you have a bike, with no barrell.... that means anyone can rip it anywhere... fuking joke.

Ha,

well,

What I would like to do, especially now, is to do an ambush, if the bike is stolen. Anyone got a van? We could teach these pricks a lesson!

Johnny

If owner hasnt reported it stolen, police wont do a thing unless a few complain of it being illegally parked. If has been reported stolen and they are still not interested, then, well.

saf

Maybe the owner lost their key. If I had a hyo I'd be doing a Jewish stocktake. Perhaps that's what this owner did although pushing it off a cliff might be a better idea.

Now there are two bikes. The other is one of those modified bikes... i cant remember the name of them, they are like roadsters, they both have no ignition barrels.

Surely someone has had their bikes nicked!!!

How often do you get people wanting to find theirs, and catch those responsible.. opportunity is here, and no takers!

saf

Kriest dude, sounds like the thieves live near where the bikes are being stashed.

Mate get down there, read compliance plate on frame, grab details of what bikes they are exactly (identifying bikes as you are "maybe a hyo, like roadsters etc isnt helping),along with yr model, exact model, vin numbers etc and report them AGAIN both to police and on forums, take pics and post up even.

It dont matter if it is a CT110 ( postie bike) they are someones pride and joy.
If police dont do nothing about it, then make sure you get their details, name rank etc, as Im sure they would not like to be assigned to desk duties as a result of this..

edit.. Well done mate, if everyone looked out as you are, these arseholes would have a better chance of getting caught !

OK,

Cops jsut came back, both bikes are stolen, both bikes reported missing, both bikes in my carpark,

If the owners want them bak, they better hurry, becauase I have no way to secure them.

A Deus Ex Machina, balck, and a GT650R!

Hurry fellas!

0424 401 837 if someone needs access, or to get intouch with me.

Yes, thieves are all over the place. Scumbags etc. These ones are kids, I am sure of that.

If the number of bikes is multiplying, you can bet the thieves are going to stash some more. Inform the cops to lie in wait and they'll get a thief, and potentially info about a chop shop.

I completely dont understand this thread :confused1:

Your saying after all this the police have come back and confirmed that the bikes are stolen (therefore know who owns them)

1) Yet the bikes havent been taken away by the police to be held.

2) Let alone the contacted the owners and have left it to you to try and contact them through comprehensive national database know as "RATS"

Am I missing something?

Yep it is very confusing but normal, the police just don't care unless you more or less drag them there as stolen bikes/cars they have the opinion let the insurance companies deal with it. Simple way to get the police interested is get them there because once on the scene they have to do something. How to get them there depends on how smart you are but things like donut sale, someone waving a gun around, chemicals with the word explosive, etc normally get them there quick.

Ring from a pay phone there are dark skin people wearing turbans mixing chemicals in the location I guarantee you will have more police there than at Mc D's at lunch time in minutes.

How about you do a bit of surveillance work and scope out who it is leaving them there......... once you know that, you can see their car and just start doing shit to it without them knowing, like lettin all four tyres down so the rims are on the road............... smashin a window, just little shit here and there that will fukin piss them right off............... fuk I hate theives. Once (IF) I find out who took my CE leathers etc, this is exactly what I will be doing to them........... lots of little things to make their life a fukin misery. It's what they deserve.

That's fine and good birdie but it's not his job to risk his neck protecting other people's stuff. As much as they may deserve an off-the-books punishment the damn cops are supposed to be handling this. They have training and are PAID TO BLOODY WELL TAKE CARE OF SUCH THINGS. Not sit on their arse eating donuts and fobbing off citizens who give them solid tip offs about actual crime. http://smiliesftw.com/x/meebo_032.gif

I reckon if you rang up and said they drop off bike, pick up and ride it daily, doing 120 in the 60 zone nearby with each time, they would be there quicker with a radar than you can say, rumplestillskin..

Ok,

Update. Both bikes are back with their owners.

One was stolen from the ladies work. They broke into a secure carpark and stole it from there this week. She is lucky, hasnt lost her pride and joy, and it would have been a 16000 lesson.

The second owner, same story, they broke into the security carpark, and took off with his.

They thieves are kids. I have a suspicion I know which ones, they would be around 16.

Atleast the cops did call the owners this time. Had the bikes been in there one more night, wouldnt have seen them again most likely.

saf
23-05-2009, 09:04 PM
That's some good news! Although I kinda hoped the cops would lay some bait to catch 'em. Did you give your tip off to the cops about which kids it might be?

wudka
23-05-2009, 09:09 PM
They would have had to have been caught red handed. Cops arent good at setting such simple traps.... They would sooner sit in my street and fine me for speeding.

I have to say, I posted this on other forums, hoping to get the attention of the owners... and on net rider, the *&^ moderator deleted my post twice, because he said I didnt give enough information...

Dead set, he must be related to the cop who I called yesterday asking if the bikes were stolen, and she responded that they were not reported (both were)
Then she said to me that an ignition barrell missing could be becuase the owners misplaced his keys, so did it themselves... So nothing suspect...

Great approach by both parties.

I thought about leaving an abusive post, but stuff them.. Hope at sme point his ways lead him to some bad karma.

I met the owners, as the cops passed on my number to them, they were very happy.
I am glad that it worked out good, and learnt about how bloody expensve the Dues ExMachinas are!

Good work mate, now can you get my race suit and Tzyu pic back for me? haha I bet the people were over the moon with your work. Fuk me, cops are just fukt........... I have had so many bad dealings with lazy arse fukheads from that "service" it ain't funny. Have 30 bikes and a 70 dampers and more shit taken from my bike shop, stand there and hear the radio saying someone is down the road with bike gear and NOBODY FUKIN MOVES an INCH.......... but I go through a round-a-bout SEEMINGLY a bit quick (didn't radar me or have my speed, just looked quick coz the angle of the round about meant I didn't have to swerve, just straight through) and the guy nearly crash tackles me off my bike after he stopped me............ they're fukt. No wonder people have a total fukin lack of respect for them.

Write this all up in a letter and send it to the police ombudsman and Guy Stanford at the MCC of NSW. It's just not good enough.

well done mate. the brother/sisterhood lives on. if we dont help each other no one else will.
as for the cops i have had a few dealings with them ranging from a stolen bike to assults and avo's. unfortunally their lack of concern or duty was staggering, they are trained to get you out the door and out of their face. (Sorry shervo, there are not enougth like you)

Too true Munga, there are a lot of lazy ones but 90% of the time they're briefed to fob you off. They need to be trained how to recognise a legitimate case.
