How much damage could it have caused??? unless it was submerged, i think they could be worth the risk.
Bayliss LE as mentioned in previous post.

There from Coffs, North coast v twins. They were up to the seats in water. The engines have been flushed out with kero and are fine. There should be nothing wrong with them and was only flooded in fresh water.

If I would get one I would strip it and go over everything to make sure there will not be any corrosion etc. Also flushing the engine oil few times might not hurt.

I'd get the Bayliss one just because... I mean, it's not like I can use a CBR400 to its full potential, let alone a 1098R. But I'd get that one if I had the cash and time to do it properly.

I think they look great, although the amount of water gone through all these vehicles is enough to keep me away.. giving them a buff & blow drying out aint enough for me personally.

If they were closer I would have had a look at them. No idea what kind of water damage they could have sustained ... to make them a 'write-off' and yet still rideable.
Not all are storm damaged, some have crash damage. I read up about these guys, they're just like the disposals it seems. They've got offices all over aus and have rep-writeoffs of all kinds. but the Bayliss rep looks gooooooood.

Are you talking about manheimfowles? Cause theyve been around for many years.. same as Grays.. some younger folks have only just discovered them via graysonline, yet they too have been around doing the same thing for many years.. well worth it to check their sites (& Pickles) out once a week.
