Was a ripper stack...the dude even crashes fast. :ayyy:
Leeding into the fast part of the circuit, right hander. Hard say which end gave way first, cos it was unsighted, but the bike flew for miles...and over the fukin fence too. :omfg:

Yeah, 1st lap and coverage lost :cursing:

Great weekend of racing!!! Poor Hopkins is busted up pretty bad... at least Hayden will now have someone to rap with in hospital!

with all the "special" things Spies is doing in wsbk in his first year, you still gotta win the races. And just when you think Haga with is 30 point lead or whatever is gonna be in trouble, Spies loses another race and it's all Haga's to lose again. Fukin awesome racing though, that first race and the SS race was insane. Aitcho did great in the SS and the look on Haga's face when Spies raped him in race one was priceless. Great weekend for us bike freaks.

Well I've just finished watching the Superbikes. It really is very special racing, and beats MotoGP for excitement by a long margin.

Perhaps it's the larger fields? Not sure. But to see three people battling it out for first place, and seeing moves like the ones Spies did on Haga on that last lap in race 1, or Haslam's efforts in both races - wow! Hard to beat.

I still like MotoGP, and will be glued to every race, but if I had to choose between the two.... bye bye MotoGP. Still, that's a hypothetical. And wasn't it a great weekend!!!

I feel the GP lacks the seat of the pants stuff at the moment. I usually go to the GP every 2nd yr but we are off to the wsb next yr because of full grid and racing just like we've just watched. Now that was racing at it's best.

Spies in race two ran wide hit the astroturf & high sided, but no camera footage :(

WSS Pitt hand/arm has nothing broken which is good news, the one that was run over, it didn't look good from footage.

I was thinking the same mate .... then the motoGP started. I must be totally honest, the motoGP, they have a mystique (or something) that does keep me 'glued' to every race just the same.
I love the SBK and WSS races, but the extra lean angles and performance of the bikes, plus the (IMHO) talent of the motoGP riders just blows me away.
Pity the field is small.
